3D Scanning

Commonly known as Reverse Engineering, existing parts can be scanned and digitised, to use in CAD drawings, as DXF, IGES, VRML or as Point Cloud data.

Incorporating a precision sensor, both soft and hard objects can be used for acquiring data, including clear or reflective materials.

Data from a scanned object can be modified or resized and saved as a STL file for using with any rapid prototyping process.
